Origin – Though the Medical College came into existence in 1925 as per the record.
The fact remains that in the year 1874, a medical institution was set by the name of Temple Medical School and students were enrolled to study medicine.
Later Temple Medical School was shifted to Darbhanga and renamed as Prince of Wales Medical College, Patna.
And later in the year 1925 again renamed as Patna Medical College.
